Great Verse For Devotions!

Yesterday night at our missions conference pastor Harold showed us a really awesome way to look at the verse John 3:16.


         When I was younger I memorized John 3:16 and for a long time I just thought of it as a " good memory verse" It was not until I got saved that I understood the true meaning of it, and still this verse wows my mind!

John 3:16
     For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish , but have ever lasting life.

1. For God  ( The greatest God ) Psalm 95:3
2. So loved ( The greatest passion ) John 15:13
3. The world ( The greatest prison ) Psalm 102:18-20
4. That he gave ( The greatest proof  ) Romans 5:8
5. His only begotten son ( The greatest propititation )
6. That whosoever ( The greatest proposal ) Revalations 22:17
7. Believeth in him ( The greatest promise )  Acts 16:31
8. Shall not perish ( The greatest punishment ) Revalations 21:14
9. But have ( The greatest position ) Matthew 16:24-26
10. Everlasting life ( The greatest place ) John 14:1

I encourage everyone to dig into this more. This truly is a blessing to me and can be to you to.
